Darq E Freaker
Infusing UK grime and Hip-Hop with electronica reminiscent of Capcom arcade games, South London producer Darq E Freaker quickly gained attention from some of rap's most eclectic artists following his work with English grime MC Tempa T. Encouraged by the production of Freaker's next track, 'Cherryade' Detroit rapper Danny Brown tapped Freaker for collaboration on the massively successful grime-infused track 'Blueberry'. Subsequently, Freaker has quickly surpassed the threshold of local notoriety.
Following 'Blueberry' acclaim, Freaker has produced for artists such as MIA protege Afrikan Boy and kawai-styled rapper Gita, as well as London Grammar and Scissor Sisters. Pulling credentials from this small but palpable discography, Freaker now sits at the forefront of non-traditional electronica.
