Irish rockers Fangclub unleashed their second explosive new EP, 'Coma Happy' on November 11th to rave reviews across the board.. Heading up the EP is the track 'Dreamcatcher'. The idea for the video was borne out of a lot of nightmares and dreams lead singer Steven King had been having, and director Finn Keenan created a world that let you take a peek into a weird distorted reality.
The band have already gathered major attention from press (Kerrang!, Rock Sound, Upset) and specialist DJ's at BBC Radio 1 (Annie Mac, Huw Stephens, Daniel P.Carter, Phil Taggart), Team Rock and Kerrang! Radio with their debut track 'Bullet Head' (taken from from their debut EP 'Bullet Head'). The band followed in its wake with standout track 'Loner', a head nodding, 90's slacker rock inspired anthem and an explosive video.
'Coma Happy' is available digitally via iTunes and there is also a 10" black vinyl EP + download card available via the band's store.
The start of 2016 found Fangclub working furiously - in every sense of the word! With the 'Bullet Head' EP comprehensively nailed and released to huge acclaim, Fangclub returned to live duty with headliners on both sides of the Atlantic, with a headline show at Whelans in Dublin on August 4th and finishing off the festival circuit with two raucous sets at Electric Picnic.
The band made their UK live debut this year with Pretty Vicious and you can still catch them on tour with Twin Atlantic.
