The Cure To Headline Major European Festivals Summer 2012
The Cure will be headlining a series of major European music festivals this Summer.
Following the rapturous acclaim that greeted their 2011 Bestival appearance and Royal Albert Hall, 'Reflections' show, The Cure - Robert Smith (Voice & Guitar), Simon Gallup (Bass), Jason Cooper (Drums) and Roger O'Donnell (Keyboards) - will play a 2 hours plus set of songs drawn from all 14 of their studio albums - including tracks from their epic 'Wish' album, celebrating it's 20th anniversary in 2012.
"While punk was still reverberating through popular culture, The Cure's unique blend of moody, atmospheric and unforgettable songs pioneered a new era in popular music and marked them for greatness from the start
Their strong sense of theatricality and unique styling gave birth to entirely new subcultures, and new generations continue to discover their signature sound and make it the soundtrack to their lives."
