CQ Wrestling are a British Grunge band led by two best friends and songwriters Charlie Woods and Jake Mac, delivering a fierce and melodic 90’s sound. Their lyrics explore social and political unrest while reaching for euphoric escape, and their chaotic, high-energy live shows have built a devoted following, including three sold-out UK tours and appearances at multiple festivals across Europe.
Their first album ‘Plus Ultra’ was released in 2023 to acclaim with support from BBC Radio 1, Radio 6 Music, and Radio X. The newly name band are entering an independent new era with their upcoming single “Catherine Wheels” - a recent fan-favourite inspired by an ancient queen who defied her king and stood for what she believed, celebrating the strength of a woman close to their hearts.

Dot To Dot Festival
The UK's premier festival for unearthing the best new talent, Dot To Dot Festival, returns to Manchester, Bristol and Nottingham from the 25th-27th May for its 13th edition. Following on from D2D being named 'Best Festival For Emerging Talent' at the UK Festival Awards in 2017, more incredible new artists from around the globe can be expected for 2018, alongside an impressive line-up of established performers.
