HUNNY BUZZ captures the duality of human nature. Front woman Lyd Read delivers raw emotion as she undresses the struggle of modern love in an up-and-coming Indie-pop group. Speaking about the track's narrative-driven lyrics and melancholic nature, Lyd Read explains “‘Now I can get over you’ is a blow-by-blow account of when two young lovers grow apart from one another, there can be relief in accepting the romance is dead and moving on.”

The band's punchy surf-pop chorus has caught the attention of many recently with BBC Introducing James Threlfall who included them as a spotlight artist on his show. Furthermore, receiving support on previous tracks thanks to BBC Radio 1’s Gemma Bradley & was aired on Channel 4’s ‘Made In Chelsea’. As well as support from online publications including Clunk Magazine, Atwood, and New Age Magazine. The quartet are building a strong live reputation supporting the likes of Cassia, Vistas and Sofy as well as an EU support tour with Hannah Wicklund. This is alongside key festival performances at Truck, 2000Trees & Dot to Dot.

HUNNY BUZZ are going from strength to strength. With only a few singles under their belt, their reputation as one of the best indie bands in Bristol is only growing. Her vocals are both poppy and emotional, channelling the confidence of artists like Billy Nomates. The lyrics are ones of acceptance and closure. - Clunk Magazine
