G Flip is becoming the role model they never had growing up. A near-lifelong musician who took up drumming at just nine-years-old, the rising superstar makes the kind of high-powered rock/pop music that could only come from the heart and mind of a drummer. As shown on their debut smash single “About You”—a 2018 release named a Best New Track by Pitchfork, with Rolling Stone soon hailing G Flip as an “Artist You Need To Know”—the Australian drummer/singer/songwriter/producer matches their potent musicianship with equal parts sonic originality and fantastically outspoken point-of-view (an element informed by their experience as a queer, non-binary artist). Born in Melbourne, the L.A.-based phenomenon now ushers in a bold new era with DRUMMER: a sophomore album cementing their status as a truly singular force of nature.
Featuring lead singles “Be Your Man”, a heart-on-sleeve love song about defying society’s narrow-minded expectations of what a relationship should look like, and “The Worst Person Alive”, an infectious earworm pop track that captures listeners from the first listen, DRUMMER is out now.
Most recently, G Flip delivered their fully sold-out Australian tour and followed it up with their first-ever U.S. headline tour last this year. G Flip hopes that their one-of-a-kind sound and sensibilities might ultimately set off a shock wave of inspiration, empowering people everywhere to embrace their truth with absolute abandon.

G Flip: New Single & Video For 'Killing My Time'
Following an absolutely belting trip to the UK and Europe, singer, songwriter, producer and multi-instrumentalist G Flip today releases the video for her second single 'Killing My Time'. A sharp-edged, glistening pop cut with a summer-ready beat and shimmering synth, the video for 'Killing My Time' was filmed using handheld cameras in airports while G Flip toured the world, a tongue-in-cheek reference to G Flip's whirlwind, non-stop schedule following her breakout success this year after performances at SXSW and The Great Escape.
