Bean Magazine are a Brisbane based rock trio, fusing their unique style of grunge gaze with raw rock energy to create an unforgettable live show. Henry Creamer (guitars and vocals), Gabrielle Beiers (drums) and Seb Baren (bass) effortlessly blend punk energy, sensitive lyrical sensibilities and classic rock riffs to create songs that will never leave your head. With musical influences ranging from The Pixies, Radiohead and The Beatles, shaped by artists like Elliott Smith and Smashing Pumpkins, the result is something that is unequivocally Bean Magazine.
In the last 12 months, Bean Magazine have released back to back EP’s, In The Shade & Folly, that will be combined into their first vinyl release at the end of 2025. Their latest release Folly, Produced by Sam Cromack from Ball Park Music, is a 7 track sun-soaked collection. Through this EP you may end up knowing yourself (and your flaws) a bit better than before, channel frustrations into thrashing guitar lines and frenetic sing-a-longs, all while relishing in gentler, overcast moments of self-reflection and acceptance. The band recently toured this Vinyl release and sold out their first headline tour across Australia.

“It's one of our favourite projects of the year to come out of Australia” - 10 Magazine
“Bean Magazine have entered the scene with a bright, sun-soaked sound that's oddly familiar, yet so fresh” - triple j
“Showcasing their offbeat style and incredible vocal range, Bean Magazine are set up for success” - Happy Mag

This year, Bean Magazine embarked on a mammoth 28-date national tour with Brisbane royalty Ball Park Music and the band toured extensively throughout Australia in 2024 with The Rubens, Hockey Dad and Rum Jungle on their respective tours, as well as stand out performances at BIGSOUND and SXSW Sydney.

2026 will see the band make their international debut, set to be announced in the First 50 acts for The Great Escape. Currently working with promoters and agents in the UK & EU regions, the band will extend their international debut across May, and make their return to market in September for Reeperbahn, alongside the release of their debut album. The band are already hard at work creating their next project, a first full length debut album to be released in September 2026, with the first single dropping February '26. This album is being produced by ARIA award winning producer Julian Sudek (Royel Otis, Bag Raiders, Genesis Owusu), elevating the incredible songwriting of the band with top shelf production to create an incredible debut record. Stylistically, emphasis on bright acoustic guitars and soaring vocal harmonies and moments will highlight the musical development of the band into established hit makers.
