Formed from a long-overdue reunion between friends, Kissing People began not over email chains or shared files, but in a room together. Drummer Holly Hardy (formerly CuckooLander and Charli XCX’s touring band) reconnected in 2023 with university friends Guro Gikling and Richard O’Flynn of Domino- signed outfit All We Are.
What started as a spontaneous jam in Liverpool quickly became something undeniable. The result: hook-laden songs driven by chiming guitars, insistent rhythms and three distinct vocal voices, blending pop immediacy with off-kilter structures. Drawing atmospheric threads from New Order, Fleetwood Mac and The Cure - Kissing People channel communal energy into something vibrant and unmistakably their own.
