Giovanni Jaël Jano, globally recognized as JAEL, is a dynamic Moluccan recording artist, producer, DJ, and vocalist hailing from The Netherlands. Rooted in a rich tapestry of Moluccan Folk, Gospel, Soul, and Electronic Music, JAEL’s musical upbringing shaped the foundation for his electrifying and versatile artistry. His relentless global touring schedule has taken him across the USA, South Africa, Asia, Australia, and New Zealand, solidifying his reputation as a global powerhouse. Adding to his accolades, JAEL hosted the acclaimed monthly radio show CAROUSEL JAEL on London's Rinse FM (2022-2023) and has been featured on esteemed platforms like BBC 1’s Benji B show and Tiffany Calver’s 1Xtra showcase. In 2023 JAEL was selected by Mixmag as one of the “Top 25 DJs Who Defined The Year”.

In 2021, JAEL unveiled his debut album, Half As Much, a masterful exploration of his vast musical influences and technical prowess. He also made waves collaborating with Juls, Wizkid, and Agent Sasco on the hit Close To Me. Always evolving, JAEL’s recent single Nancy Junglist featuring the legendary Sister Nancy showcases his love for Electronic music, Jungle, and DnB, pushing the limits of his artistry.

With his forthcoming EP Motion Sickness—set to release on January 31st—JAEL embarks on a new chapter, diving deeper into electronic soundscapes. Paired with an ambitious global tour, this next era promises to redefine the boundaries of live performance and electronic music innovation.
