Jay Prince is a Rapper, artist, songwriter, and music producer who began rising in popularity after his highly acclaimed mixtape, Be For Our Time. His music is often comprised of Jazz and a combination of Soulful elements providing a canvas for his poetry and lyricism.

Born in East London to both Angolan & Congolese parents, musician Jay Prince grew up exposed to many styles and genres of music, playing the piano, bass, and guitar. His influences stretch from Hip Hop, Soul, R&B, Rumba, and Jazz.

Praised for his poetic and down-to-earth introspective lyrics among his musicality, Jay Prince shows diversity in how he combines different genres which has allowed him to go on to collaborate with a range of artists around the world such as the likes of, Tyler The Creator, Mahalia, Kojey Radical, Mura Masa, Gold Link, Paul Epworth, Jay Electronica, SiR, Aminé, Mr. Hudson, Yussef Dayes, and Estelle - just to name a few.

Jay Prince has also had success and experience in advertising where he recorded the new rendition of "So You Wanna Be A Boxer" for The Paralympics commercial on Channel 4 directed by Bradford Young, which went on to win the British Arrows Award (2022) with Leland Music for Creative Use of Music. In addition to working with clients such as Evian, where he composed and sang vocals for the "Bare Necessities" (2019) commercial. Jay Prince has also worked on music syncing projects and brand partnerships with Redbull, Sprite, and Beats.

His music has been featured in video games such as NBA 2K19, PES 2019, FIFA 22, and FIFA 23.

Jay continues to showcase his music around the world with tours and shows having already featured in stages such as Coachella, SXSW, The Great Escape, Wildlife.
