Jelani Blackman is a singer and rapper from London.

In 2014 he released his twisted after-dark anthem 'Twenty//Three' to critical acclaim, the song eventually ending up on Noisey's end of year poll at #7. He also collaborated with Sylas and Brian Eno to release the mesmerising collaboration 'Layer'.

Now Blackman is set to release a series of singles starting with 2015's 'Repeater'. Having bided his time after the first release the response to 'Repeater' has been widespread with 'BeastOne' and Radio 1 early supporters. As Noisey put it "his voice is deeper than a well, and I can't stop falling in". Follow up single 'Submarine' has only increased the excitement around Jelani, with Zane Lowe declaring: "superstar alert".
