    Helmet: 'Meantime 20th Anniversary' Tour

Helmet are pleased to announce a European 'Meantime' 20th Anniversary tour in March/April 2012. The band will be playing their iconic 1992 'Meantime' album in full, plus a host of other Helmet classics, as well as songs from their latest album, 'Seeing Eye Dog'.

Billed as the "thinking man's metal band," Helmet provided an alternative to the grunge bands coming out of the US at the time with their clean cut aesthetic and raw, unrelenting, propulsive sound.
'Meantime' gave the band their first taste of mainstream success - debuting at #68 on the Billboards Top 200. Singles 'Unsung' and 'In The Meantime' went on to become hard rock radio classics and paved the way for many other alt rock bands to come. The album sold 2 million copies worldwide and remains a rock music staple.

Last year Helmet returned with their critically acclaimed 7th studio album 'Seeing Eye Dog' The album's 10 tracks include the title cut, 'Welcome To Algiers', 'White City' the mostly instrumental 'Morphing' and a cover of the Beatles' 'And Your Bird Can Sing'.

    Dave Clarke: 'fabric 60'

"Plenty of suitably tough and twisted delights to revel in... A fascinating and fresh selection." - DJ Mag

"The Baron Of Techno" has an anarchist streak a mile wide and punk in his soul. Reflecting Dave Clarke's manipulation of the sonic characteristics of fabric's Room 2, 'fabric 60' is a tide of gothic, bass-heavy techno and real electro. Showcasing 17 upfront, and sometimes unknown new releases, he has eschewed any desire to look back with guaranteed party tracks, and focused instead solely on completely new material.

"It is a sonic journey man... don't you hate that?! I wanted to have a gothic and bass heavy start that represented the sonic characteristics that Room 2 is capable of handling. I also wanted it to have some real electro, as fabric is one place that can truly appreciate that. It's all pretty dark though and I think it represents the edgier side of club music that you only get to hear in clubs that care." - Dave Clarke

The Felice Brothers: 'Fire at the Pageant'

The Felice Brothers' release their new single, 'Fire At The Pageant' on 5th December. Available on either 7" vinyl or digital download, it will feature alongside new song 'Millionaire' as the exclusive B-side.

Described by The Guardian a "clattering, accordian-fuelled drama" with "a snatch of old-school hip-hop scratching", 'Fire At The Pageant' is the opening track from the band's highly praised, recently released 4th album 'Celebration, Florida'. Highly praised by the folk at Mojo, Uncut, Q, The Guardian, The Financial Times, The Sun & The Daily Express, among others, all of whom awarded the album no less than 4 stars, with Uncut also awarding it with their title of 'Americana Album of The Month'.

Both songs have accompanying videos. Both of them shot by the band at their home in the Catskills, NY. Both of them a little bit... unusual.
'The Fire At The Pageant' video has already been unleashed upon the unsuspecting world, via Rolling Stone, who describe it rather accurately as an "eerie, self-directed clip, channeling the Southern mischief of True Blood's opening credits. The video opens with an ominous monologue suggesting dire things to come, followed by a series of spontaneous - and sometimes unfortunate - circumstances. Supplemented by the grainy images, the scenes provide a mystical, almost haunting feeling that's intensified by a shot of bassist Christmas rolling around in the trunk of a car, wearing a dress." Every bit as good as it sounds.

The release of the single handily coincides with the brothers' European Tour, where they will be joined by AA Bondy as support.

    Jesus Jones Rescheduled UK Shows

Jesus Jones regret the postponement of their shows in Birmingham and London on November 1 & 2.

Bass player Alan Doughty was forced to undergo emergency surgery last week following an injury at his home in America.

Singer Mike Edwards explained : "Although Al's recovering he's still in a lot of pain. There's no way he can travel and play right now. It's been a tough decision to postpone the dates because we realise that people have been looking forward to the shows - we have too. We hope it doesn't mess people's plans up too much and can't wait to play these shows as soon as Alan is OK again."

The shows have been rescheduled as follows:
    27th January: HMV Institute, Birmingham
28th January: O2 Academy Islington, London
