Mount Kimbie: New Album and European Tour
Hot on the heels of the release of their second album 'Cold Spring Fault Less Youth', Mount Kimbie can now announce a European tour including their biggest UK headline show to date at Koko in London.
Last week the duo played to a sold out crowd at Peckham's Bussey Building, with The Guardian hailing the new live show "glorious" and "absorbing", as well as a landmark performance at last weekend's Field Day festival.
"The careful nuances, shuffling rhythms and strange emotions of their first outing, fine-tuned into something unmissable"
NME 8/10"Bigger and bolder than their 2010 debut Crooks & Lovers"

Heathers Sign To Warner Music Germany
Following on from the success of 'Forget Me Knots' from their Choice Music nominated 2nd album 'Kingdom', Heathers are continuing their international rise and have now signed a deal with Warner Music Germany for the whole of Central Europe which will include releasing the new album in Germany, Austria, Switzerland & Poland. This follows on from the girls' recent signing to Sony Music Canada in March and is part of their on-going campaign to release 'Kingdom' worldwide, continuing to build a solid fan-base internationally this year.
Commenting on the deal, Louise and Ellie said;
"We are absolutely thrilled about this deal with Warner Music Germany and are very excited about getting out to promote and tour 'Kingdom' in Europe this year. Some of the recent shows we've had around Europe have been extremely encouraging so we're hopeful that 'Kingdom' will be a great success in those countries and further afield".Heathers music has featured on 90210 on CBS in the US at the end of last year. This followed other placements on the very successful US TV show 'Mob Wives' on VHI, as well as 'The Voice', 'X Factor', 'Waterloo Road' and various other TV shows in the UK.
Recently the band were invited to L.A. to perform at the Pre-Oscars party hosted by Steven Spielberg and J.J. Abrams - Interviewed in last week's Irish Mail on Sunday, J.J. Abrams said "this year, Dublin band, Heathers played (at the pre-Oscars party) and my daughter is just nuts about them. We haven't stopped listening to them since."
The band's new single 'Lions, Tigers, Bears' is also out now in Ireland and available for download.

Neosignal: New Single 'Planet Online'
With fans like Amon Tobin, Skrillex and Noisia (who've signed them to their Division Recordings label), you'd expect Neosignal to offer something different - and the German duo (aka drum & bass heroes Phace & Misanthrop aka Florian Harres and Michael Brauninger) certainly don't disappoint. 'Planet Online' is the first single from their debut album, 'Raum und Zeit'.
Shot in a style that borrows from early Nineties children's toy commercials, the video for 'Planet Online' uses toys and analogue objects to create a physical reconstruction of the current online landscape, where current internet brands including Buzzfeed, Facebook, Instagram, 4 Chan, YouTube, Twitter, YouPorn) fight for our online attention. Guest appearances come from Wikileaks, Anonymous, ACTA, The Pirate Bay, Megaupload and beyond.
The video was created by Dent De Cuir, the production company and collective who've previously created videos for Modeselektor and Siriusmo.
Jean-Philippe from Dent De Cuir said: "The idea behind the video was to look at how the next generation are interacting with the internet and are faced with an ever expanding range of content. We employed early 1990's advertising aesthetics so we could recreate the internet by using toys as the media. It was an exciting (and intense) experience that felt like being back in childhood for 2 months"
Neosignal's live show recently had its premiere at London's Fabric and revealed an electronic music outfit bristling with visceral energy.
Their influences range from Can to Kraftwerk and Joy Division to Led Zeppelin, and, while their music has elements of early Krautrock, industrial and 80's EBM (electronic body music), it's powered by 21st century, bass-driven production.'Planet Online' will be released on Division Recordings as a Beatport exclusive on 27 May / 10 June on iTunes and all other platforms. Remixes come from Culprate, Rockwell and Rawtekk.
'Raum und Zeit' will be released on 24 June on Division Recordings.

HVOB: New Ep 'Always Like This'
HVOB have only just released their impressive debut album, but the next EP is already on the way: 'Always Like This' is almost a tribute to the Vienna-based electronic duo's current wave of success.
Number 1 in the iTunes Dance Charts in Austria and number 3 in Germany, number 3 in the Beatport Deep House Charts - and HVOB's eponymous debut album continues to win the band critical acclaim in a success story which began when the first snippets appeared on Soundcloud a year ago.
HVOB's Berlin-based label Stil vor Talent, which is no stranger to success, has been delighted by one of its best selling albums to date.
HVOB's third EP is scheduled for release on April 26th - and the track selection seems to be more than mere coincidence. 'Always Like This' is an accurate reflection of the young Vienna electro duo's life right now.Anna Muller and Paul Wallner are "super happy" with the way things are going, busy as they are with all the live appearances in cities like Berlin, Paris and Istanbul, long nights spent in the studio and the formation of new partnerships: alongside Four Artists, Primary Talent one of the world's major booking agencies, will in future be looking after the interests of HVOB.
'Always Like This' is the third single from the album 'HVOB'. HVOB's cover of the track by British indie rock band Bombay Bicycle Club mixes warm synth pads with soft beats, while Anna Muller's distinctive voice puts an entirely new spin on the melancholy of the original.
Oliver Koletzki and andhim have both made remixes of HVOB's interpretation of 'Always Like This': Oliver Koletzki's version is powerful, emotive and melodic, while andhim's shows incredible attention to detail and is intensely deep and original.HVOB, which stands for Her Voice Over Boys, are Anna Muller and Paul Wallner, who formed the duo in spring 2012. Muller (composition, production, vocals) and Wallner (composition and final production) produce intelligent, sophisticated electronic music which is both easy to listen or dance to. The Vienna duo, who favour live on-stage performances with the backing of a drummer, will be appearing at the Donaufestival in Krems, Lower Austria, the Lighthouse Festival (Porec, Croatia), the Pratersauna in Vienna, the Ubel & Gefahrlich in Hamburg and the Ninkasi in Lyon.
