'Isles of Wonder' is Top of iTunes Chart
'Isles of Wonder' the soundtrack album to the Opening Ceremony of the London 2012 Olympic Games, musically directed by Rick Smith of Underworld and featuring Dizzee Rascal and Alex Trimble of Two Door Cinema Club amongst a host of others has gone to #1 in the iTunes Album Chart, having sold 10,000 downloads in two days

Plan B: 'ill Manors' #1 Album
'ill Manors' has entered the BBC Radio One Album Chart at #1 in it's first week of release, giving Plan B aka Ben Drew his second number one album, following 'The Defamation of Strickland Banks'.
'ill Manors' is the soundtrack to his movie of the same name, which has been in cinemas since the beginning of June.

Underworld: 'Isles of Wonder' Soundtrack
With the final chime of the 23 tonne bell still resonating around the Olympic Park and the stadium audience beginning to head home, the true echoes of the Opening Ceremony can be heard the world over as the event's phenomenal musical score - produced by Underworld's Rick Smith - gets a digital release the minute the event finishes.
Featuring many of the highlights of July 27th's jaw-dropping show, including reworked tracks by the Chemical Brothers, Fuck Buttons, Blanck Mass, Arctic Monkeys, Emeli Sand and Mike Oldfield as well as two huge new specially commissioned pieces by Underworld (the fifteen minute 'Pandemonium' section soundtrack 'And I Will Kiss' and 'Caliban's Dream', the musical announcement of the Olympic torch's arrival in the stadium).
Talking about the ideas that forged the music on 'Isles of Wonder', Rick says, "Music is Britain's cultural heartbeat; it's a perpetual act of revolutionary thought. From William Blake to the Beatles via the Clash and the Chemical Brothers, the soundtrack to our lives fizzes and hums all around us like a stray signal from a radio dial that your internal antenna just can't help but tune into."
The soundtrack is released as soon as the Ceremony finishes on all major digital platforms. A physical release via Decca Records will be available on August 6th. The soundtrack is split into two sections - the first represents the music from the main show; the second is the soundtrack to the athletes parade. It features reworked versions of Underworld classics (many of them by Scribble collaborator High Contrast) alongside a set of handpicked tracks that chosen specifically for the event.

Elton John vs Pnau: Tops the UK Album Chart
'Good Morning To The Night' the new album, where Pnau have been given complete freedom to remix the entire Elton John back catalogue, has been a huge success. This week it entered the BBC Radio One Album Chart in the number one position. Featured here is the video for the track 'Sad'.

Dizzee Rascal feat. Pepper: Official Olympic Song 'Scream'
Dizzee Rascal has had a busy week; performing at both the Olympic Torch Relay event on Thursday, to a crowd of 65,000, and then again as part of the London 2012 Olympic Games Opening Ceremony. Last night at the Olympic Stadium he performed the #1 hit 'Bonkers', to a live audience of 80,000 in the 27 million pound spectacular... which is estimated to have reached over a billion people worldwide.
Dizzee will release his official Olympic song 'Scream' on 5th August, it features his protege Pepper on vocals, who is also represented by Primary Talent.

Alex Trimble (Two Door Cinema Club) at London 2012 Olympics
Alex Trimble from Two Door Cinema Club was a special guest at last night's London 2012 Olympic Games Opening Ceremony. He sang 'Caliban's Dream' a song especially written for the event by Underworld's Rick Smith, as athletes carried the Olympic Torch around the stadium.
