Ebony Bones: New Album 'Behold, A Pale Horse'
Producer, singer, songwriter, and boundary-breaking artist Ebony Bones - whose stage name was coined by punk icon Rat Scabies, drummer of The Damned - developed a love for music at an early age. Spending time in her father's music stall in Brixton Market, her musical education began.
Informed by producers like Brian Eno and Quincy Jones, her influences grew to include everyone from Siouxie Soux, PiL and The Slits to Public Enemy and Fela Kuti.. Armed with her own mature and captivating sound and a strong DIY ethic, Ebony's sophomore album, 'Behold, A Pale Horse', will be released in August via 1984 Records.Ever since the release of her 2009 debut album 'Bone Of My Bones', catching the attention of Time Out London magazine, who named her one of their '40 Men and Women Who Make London,' as well as Cee Lo Green, whom requested her to open his 2011 European tour. The British producer, singer songwriter and prominent stage presence Ebony Bones, has been making music that simply begs to be listened to. Her new album, 'Behold A Pale Horse', is no exception.

Babyshambles: New Single 'Nothing Comes to Nothing'
Babyshambles and Parlophone are thrilled to announce that the third Babyshambles album 'Sequel To The Prequel' will be released on September 2nd. Preceded by a first single 'Nothing Comes To Nothing' - due for release on August 26th - the album was recorded at Question Du Son, Paris and mixed in The Bunker, London, with producer/mixer and long time Shambles collaborator Stephen Street.
As Peter Doherty told the NME last week, "I don't want this to be half arsed, I want to get up there and really fu*king smash it out. Babyshambles aren't back, this band has always been here". On hearing the final version of the single 'Nothing Comes To Nothing', Peter stated, "it actually made me cry".
UK tour begins on 4th September...

Glasvegas: New Single 'If'
Taken from their forthcoming album 'Later... When The TV Turns To Static', 'If' melds trademark Glasvegas' soaring choruses to a martial drum and Phil Spector inspired opening.
'If' is accompanied on the EP by three exclusive recordings from the band.
A cover of PJ Harvey's 'The Words That Maketh Murder', 'Press Play'' a brand new track written especially for the EP by James Allan and a demo version of 'Finished Sympathy' which is the last track on the new album."A lot of thought went into the 'If EP'" says James "from the decision about the cover track right down to the wee <> symbols in the 'Press
' title, which I wanted to make look like a button on a VCR. I sometimes mess around with letters and symbols and stuff." "The reason for choosing 'The Words That Maketh Murder' was that some of the covers we have done in the past have been older songs, so we wanted to go for something newer. The PJ Harvey album 'Let England Shake' is a record we had been listening to and it seemed an obvious choice to pick a song from this record."
"'Press
' is a new song and is me speaking in a hypothetical sense, a 'what if-scenario', and the demo of 'Finished Sympathy', well it's a bloody good song from the album that we are really proud of, based on my opinion that "sympathy" is something that's finished at too young an age. You can expect heavy fireworks from the album version." The new video features the legendary William Shatner and is Glasvegas' take on the 'Old Grey Whistle Test'.
"We played on the Late Show with Craig Ferguson in LA a couple of years ago and William Shatner introduced us as he is a fan of the band. We thought it would be a cool thing to add in for the new video since it also has a 'late show' theme."
"It's a simple live performance by the band with an abstract part in the middle where it looks like the video has been taped over with random visuals. The video has a filter that we wanted to put on it just to make it look even more like you were watching a recording on VCR. Old school!"
The new album 'Later... When The TV Turns To Static' will be released on September 2nd on BMG.
To support the album release Glasvegas have announced a UK tour.- Contact
