Wolf Alice: Biggest UK Tour To Date

Following a breathtaking start to 2015, which has so far taken in sold-out tours across North America, Europe and the UK, North London's Wolf Alice are now set to follow the festival season with their biggest tour to date this September, including a homecoming show at the prestigious Brixton Academy on the 26th.

The announcement follows the band sharing their new single 'Bros' - which fizzes and bubbles right from the off atop a frolicking drum beat and is an infectious ode to the elation that only truly great friendships can bring you; a euphoric moment dedicated to "everyone who's ever had a friend, and for those who haven't" - and comes ahead of the release of their debut album 'My Love Is Cool' on June 22nd.

From the enormous riffs of 'Giant Peach' to the muffled, urgent melodies of 'Lisbon' and hip-hop rhythms of 'Silk', 'My Love Is Cool' is a masterful, explorative statement of Wolf Alice's multiple characters.
Equal parts gigantic guitars and wistful, wilting beauty, 'My Love Is Cool' is a timeless collection of songs that outweighs any preconceived notions of what Wolf Alice are, or can be. The ambitions of Ellie Rowsell (guitar/vocals), Theo Ellis (bass), Joff Oddie (guitars) and Joel Amey (drums/vocals) are now fully realised in stunning widescreen.

Tickets for Wolf Alice's September tour will be on sale from Friday 1st May.

Rat Boy: Debut Single 'Sign On'

After building an underground following after uploading his self-released debut EP 'The Mixtape' and touring as guest to Circa Waves, Rat Boy - AKA teenage producer / writer / multi-instrumentalist Jordan Cardy - will release his debut single 'Sign On' which impacts on June 1st, via Hometown Records.

'Sign On' is a state-of-the-nation anthem for those who have also experienced similar tales of lost jobs, empty bank accounts and being "young, dumb and living off mum." Sonically, 'Sign On' is contrastingly uplifting as it mixes an anarchic sense of melody with ramshackle beats and Rat Boy's character-fuelled raps.

'Sign On' is a single which is indicative of Rat Boy's style, in which his home-grown rhymes paint a lyrical dissertation of suburban Britain. It's a place in which stepping onto public transport is akin to entering a battlefield: a land of wannabe gangsters, muggings and sportswear casualties.

Although 'Sign On' is a co-production with James Dring, Rat Boy plans to produce everything else himself; he feels that co-writes would dilute his style; plans to continue to create all artwork himself (inspirations include skateboarding artist Mark Gonzales and Snoop Dogg associate Darryl 'Joe Cool' Daniels) as well as the accompanying music videos; and he has formed a band in which he's joined by three friends.
