The 1975: Nominated For Two Brit Awards
The 1975 have received two nominations at the BRIT Awards 2017. The Manchester four-piece have been nominated for British Group as well as the prestigious MasterCard British Album of the Year for their critically-lauded second album 'I like it when you sleep, for you are so beautiful yet so unaware of it'. The band will also be performing at the BRIT Awards on 22nd February at The O2 Arena in London, where they recently performed to sell-out crowds.
'I like it when you sleep...' debuted at #1 in both the UK and US chart, with sales of over 900,000 to date and was one of the top six shortlisted Albums of the Year at the prestigious Mercury Prize 2016, also winning the public vote. It was named Album Of The Year in Q and NME and featured prominently in end of year reviews.
The 1975 have recently announced their biggest US headline show to date at New York's legendary Madison Square Garden on 1st June. This follows their recent sold-out arena tour of the UK which included two triumphant nights at the O2 Arena in London - the first of which sold out in less than 3 hours.

The 1975 have announced a huge show at New York's 20,000 capacity, Madison Square Garden on 1st June.
