East India Youth: New Album 'Culture of Volume'

Over the last year, London-based East India Youth has combined strikingly original electronic pop music with euphoric, intense live performances, quickly becoming recognised as one of the most experimental and captivating artists around. His debut album 'TOTAL STRIFE FOREVER' (released on Stolen Recordings) featured in many 'Album of The Year' lists, and was nominated for the Mercury Music Prize.

His second album 'CULTURE OF VOLUME' will be released worldwide by XL Recordings on April 6th (7th in North America). Audiences can expect widescreen Pet Shop Boys-style pop gems next to minimalist, industrial techno, next to sci-fi Scott Walker style ballads next to ambient explorations, next to Krautrock-style synthesizer laments.
