Buraka Som Sistema: 10 Year Anniversary Tour
Amsterdam, Rotterdam, Berlin, Paris, London and Brussels are the first cities revealed to welcome Buraka Som Sistema in 2016. These are the first announced dates of the tour that will celebrate the band's 10 year anniversary.
After announcing in August they would be going on hiatus following 10 year anniversary tour in 2016, Buraka Som Sistema are now revealing the first European dates. This tour will take them to some of the most important cities in the career of band members Branko, Blaya, Conductor, Kalaf & Riot, confirming the legacy of one of the most singular international groups in recent memory.
From their memorable live shows at Amsterdam's ADE to the historical nights at Paris and London, Buraka intend to make their presence be felt on this final tour before officially going on an indefinite break. Buraka's shows will have the support of Alo Wala, an artist who's also affiliated with the Enchufada label.
More tour dates will be announced soon, including stops in their home country of Portugal, of course.

Known for their legendary live shows and ability to slay dancefloors with endless bangers, Buraka Som Sistema have gained some serious momentum over the years as a mainstay in the dance music world since the early noughties. Buraka Som Sistema AKA Branko, Riot, Kalaf and Conductor took the furious rhythms of Angolan kuduro, mixed it with techno, grime and whatever else was handy and created critically acclaimed albums such as 2009's 'Black Diamond' and 2011's 'Komba'.

'M:FANS', a radical new reworking of one of John Cale's most unique and lauded solo records, the 1982 masterpiece 'Music For A New Society', will be released on 22nd January 2016 on Double Six / Domino.

'Music For A New Society' will also be available fully re-mastered from 22nd January 2016, with 3 previously unreleased bonus tracks from the original multi-track recordings.
'M:FANS' explores the relationship between old and new, in terms of the sound and vision, and Cale's memories of the experience, in terms of his life and the recording. Back and forth 'M:FANS' goes, sampling the original, while creating brand new soundscapes, giving Cale the opportunity for closure on one of the most testing eras of his life, and a way to keep moving forward.
"Making any form of art is always personal to my mind. During the making of 'M:FANS', I found myself loathing each and every character written about in those original recording sessions of 'Music For...' ," says Cale of the reworking. "Unearthing those tapes reopened those wounds. It was time to decimate the despair from 1981 and breathe new energy, re-write the story. Then, the unthinkable happened. What had informed so much over lost and twisted relationships in 1981 had now come full circle. Losing Lou [too painful to understand] forced me to upend the entire recording process and begin again... a different perspective - a new sense of urgency to tell a story from a completely opposite point of view - what was once sorrow, was now a form of rage. A fertile ground for exorcism of things gone wrong and the realization they are unchangeable. From sadness came the strength of fire!!!"
In 1982, 'Music For A New Society' sounded exactly like its title: something futuristic, a new kind of songwriting exercise. In 2016, 'M:FANS' is exactly that too, full of electrical crackle and disturbed frequencies, a different kind of dystopian future awaits. John Cale forages on; it's the only way he knows how.

The Pop Group: New Video 'S.O.P.H.I.A.'
Post punk provocateurs The Pop Group release a video of their track 'S.O.P.H.I.A.' taken from the Paul Epworth (Florence & The Machine, FKA Twigs, Adele) produced album 'Citizen Zombie', released on February 23rd of this year to widespread critical acclaim.
The video rounds off a year of extensive worldwide touring which has included Glastonbury Festival, a guerrilla gig at Banksy's 'Dismaland' and a recent headline show at Iceland Airwaves. The Pop Group play further European festival dates this November and finish the year with a three-date tour of Japan.

Marianne Faithfull: At Camden Roundhouse

Farao: European Tour
Farao will be returning to Europe on the heels of her US tour with The Cribs for a string of dates throughout November including London's Union Chapel (Nov 13th) and Manchester's Deaf institute (Nov 12th). She will also be performing live on Lauren Laverne's 6 Music show on 13th Nov before her London show (supporting San Fermin).
The track 'Hunter', taken from Farao's critically acclaimed 2015 debut album 'Till It's All Forgotten', has been selected as the premiere track for the launch of BBC4's 'The Bridge' (Danish cop drama now in it's third season).
Overlooked in the UK upon release back in September, 'Till It's All Forgotten' is one of this year's finest gems. 'Warriors', the latest track from Farao's sleeper tour de force will be released on 27th November on Full Time Hobby.

together PANGEA are touring Europe and the UK from 28 January - 5 March in support of their recently released Burger Records 'THE PHAGE EP' - produced by Tommy Stinson from The Replacements. 'THE PHAGE EP' is available on 12" EP, cassette & digital.
"'The Phage' is essentially cabin fever, whether it be a cabin or a tour van that you're trapped in for months." Says singer / songwriter / guitarist William Keegan. "When things become funny for no reason and a little madness sets in, that's when you start stealing organs with a teleportation ray. Just watch Star Trek Voyager."
2015 has been an active year to date for together PANGEA. The year started with a sweaty & successful 25-date tour of the UK and Europe, followed by a slot opening for the The Replacements at the legendary Hollywood Palladium. A first visit to Mexico, a summer U.S. West Coast headlining tour and an appearance at last month s hottest Los Angeles festival Beach Goth 2015 before starting the fall tour the band are currently headlining in support of 'THE PHAGE EP', which includes a stop at Fun Fun Fun Fest in Texas.
With no break on the horizon after the US tour finishes 6 December, together PANGEA intend to record and complete a new full-length album prior to stepping on the plane for the start of the European Tour on 28 January.

EPROM & Barclay Crenshaw: 'Crawled Eagle'
EPROM and Barclay Crenshaw (AKA Claude VonStroke) collaborate on 'Crawled Eagle', which according to VonStroke is the result of three days hidden away in his Venice studio during which he and EPROM sampled and then resampled their choice analog sounds. Though both voices are present, it s certainly EPROM who takes the lead on this track. His elongated bass wake splices together with the quirky samples Crewnshaw often replicates in his own tracks - repetitive vocal snippets, wandering bird calls, and psychedelic reverb. Without a doubt, this is the nastiest production to ever take flight from the Crenshaw studio.
'Crawled Eagle', along with the 'Moon Juice' B-side, will be available October 30th via STX and BRX.
