Ride: Reform For 2015 Tour
One of Creation Records' first global success stories, Ride, are getting back together for live dates next year to the delight of their loyal fans, including London's Roundhouse, New York's Terminal 5 and the Olympia in Paris.
They are the band who slammed the door firmly shut on the (by then) flailing 80's pop movement and paved the way for bands like Primal Scream and Oasis to shine in the Britpop era. They helped Alan McGee's label achieve its first UK chart breakthrough as well as enjoying a successful career in the US, Europe and Japan while many of their peers struggled to break out of the UK scene, as well as having an international record deal with Seymour Stein's legendary Sire Records.
Ride will play a UK tour that will kick off at Glasgow Barrowland Ballroom on Friday 22 May 2015 and will also include Manchester's Albert Hall and The Roundhouse in London, before heading to Europe to play Amsterdam, Paris and Barcelona's Primavera Festival on 29 May. The band will then head across the Atlantic to play Toronto and New York - and then back to the UK to headline Field Day on Sunday 7 June.

Giorgio Moroder: New Album '74 Is The New 24'
RCA Records and Sony Music is honored to announce today that the founder of disco and an electronic music trailblazer, Giorgio Moroder has signed a worldwide deal with Sony Music International (RCA Records in the US) and will be releasing his first solo album in over 30 years in spring 2015. In celebration of the news, Giorgio shares a brand new video for first song revealed from the album entitled '74 Is the New 24.' The video premiered today on VICE / The Creators Project.

Giorgio's long-awaited, forthcoming album will feature a superstar line up of collaborators including Britney Spears, Sia, Charlie XCX, Kylie Minogue, Mikky Ekko, Foxes, Matthew Koma, and many more to be announced soon.
Giorgio made his mark as an influential Italian producer, songwriter, performer and DJ. At 74 years-old, Moroder still has his hands in the center of EDM culture, swinging back into the spotlight as a guest collaborator on the GRAMMY Award - winning Daft Punk album 'Random Access Memories' ('Album Of the Year'), remixing Lady Gaga's and Tony Bennett's 'I Can't Give You Anything but Love,' Coldplay's 'Magic,' along with remixes for Donna Summer, Haim and his 'Scarface' motion picture soundtrack. He has a newfound station as a live DJ which included major festival slots in Japan, Sweden, Mexico, Germany, the 'HARD's Day Of The Dead' in Los Angeles, and at the Pitchfork Music Festival earlier this year.

Over the course of his career, Mr. Moroder has worked with some of the most famous names in music including Barbra Streisand, Elton John, Donna Summer, Cher, Janet Jackson, Chaka Khan, Freddy Mercury, Blondie, and David Bowie to name a few. He is heavily noted for being the key player in the Queen of Disco Donna Summer's rise to fame throughout the 1970s, collaborating with her on her biggest hits including 'Love To Love You Baby,' 'Hot Stuff' and 'I Feel Love.'
In 1997, Moroder and Summer won the Grammy Award for 'Best Dance Recording' for the song 'Carry On.' He recently teamed with Verve records to honor Summer with 'Love To Love You Donna', a collection of her most notable hits remixed by Afrojack, Hot Chip, Laidback Luke. Masters at Work, and others.Giorgio Moroder's music charted success everywhere the disco craze touched down but he is also responsible for some of the most classic film scores to date including 'Scarface' and 'Midnight Express', as well as timeless soundtrack numbers like 'Take My Breath Away' ('Top Gun'), Irene Cara's 'Flashdance,' Blondie's 'Call Me' ('American Gigolo'), as well as compositions on films such as The Never Ending Story, Superman III, 'Rambo III' and 'Beverly Hills Cop II'. From these, Moroder has accumulated three Academy Awards, four Golden Globes, four Grammys and more than 100 gold and platinum records. Giorgio Moroder was inducted into the 'Dance Music Hall of Fame' in 2004.

British pop artist Little Boots premiered her new video for 'Taste It' today on Elle.com.
"I wanted the video to mirror the lyrics of the song, and comment on some of the trappings of modern day addictions in a fun way," Little Boots says of the colourful conveyer belt-style promo clip that she collaborated on with director Ish Sahotay.
"Whether it's vanity, money, success, escapism, body image, or more abstract notions, 'Taste It' is about that feeling of always wanting more even if we know it's bad for us. 'Future History' is Nu:Tone's fourth studio album. Spank Rock: 'The Upside EP'
Spank Rock (Naeem Juwan), the "electro and dirty rap auteur" (NYTimes) and "harbinger of post-millenial rap" (FADER), has been building buzz this past year for his next release, an intense dose of club - and festival-ready rap. His six-track EP 'The Upside' follows 2011's 'Everything is Boring and Everyone is a Fucking Liar', 2008's 'Bangers & Cash EP', 2006's seminal 'Yoyoyoyoyo', and slew of recent popular singles and featured verses. Fast, ghetto, provocative, and complex, 'The Upside' is one of the most unique and creative dance records of 2014.
Juwan has a reputation as a connoisseur of the most cutting-edge trends in hip hop and dance (working with Big Freedia and Le1f on his 2011 LP, Benny Blanco in 2008, and Diplo in 2005). With Startisha, he stays true to form, working with some of the most creative new talents from his close family of collaborators: New Orleans trap upstart Kid Kamillion, Philly hip-hop producer Noah Breakfast, Don Loemax (of Passion Pit), and German techno producer Boys Noize. Stand-out tracks include Brodinski and A-Trak favorite 'Gully', as well as 'Assassin', Spank Rock's first official single with Amanda Blank since 2008. Bonus track 'Gully (With You)' is an addictive house remix by Switch (of Major Lazer) and protege Rick Trainor for their latest electronic music project With You.
