TOY: 'I'm Still Believing' Remix
TOY's single 'I'm Still Believing' has been remixed by Tim Gane from Cavern of Anti-Matter & Stereolab.
The original track was taken from the album 'Clear Shot', which was released last Friday and has been receiving very positive press attention."TOY's 2012 eponymous debut and 2014 follow-up, 'Join The Dots', found them thrillingly aligning the motorick tug of krautrock to postpunk and psychedelia. Here, the primary sources are late-1960s lysergic pop and the swoonsome, shoegazing melodies...It's another fine effort from a band who are gradually building up an absorbing catalogue." - The Guardian (4 Star Review)

Helmet: New Album & European Tour
"All news is bad news" spits Page Hamilton's distinctive voice from the speakers, accompanied by the unique, dynamic fusion of classic rock, hardcore and off kilter grooves that have inspired countless others. Nobody sounds quite like Helmet.
Most definitely not - and most definitely not all news is bad news as today sees the digital release of 'Bad News' - the first song to see the light of day from 'Dead To The World', the band's first album in six years.
The song opens with a sustained ringing sound - reminiscent of the Beatles' 'Tomorrow Never Knows,' but the invocation is quickly and abruptly interrupted by a wall of distorted guitars.
Hamilton's vocals provide a calm counterpoint to the propulsive music with a confident, almost detached nonchalance. He delivers the repeated line "all news is bad news from now on" with equal parts despair, resignation, and amusement. His is the voice of a weary observer looking for catharsis.
The song is taken from Helmet's upcoming album 'Dead To The World' that is going to be released as 1CD digipak, transparent Vinyl and Digital on October 28th, 2016 on earMUSIC.
The Gold certified and Grammy nominated band Helmet will introduce new songs as well as play Helmet classics on their upcoming 40 date European tour. Starting on January 21, 2017 in Prague, Czech Republic and wrapping in March 12, 2017 in Glasgow, Scotland.

Rizzle Kicks: November / December Tour Cancelled
Hey guys. I know it's shit but Harley and I are cancelling the Rizzle kicks Nov/Dec tour. We're going to record a video to reaffirm why and emphasise our frustration but ultimately these are the reasons.
* We haven't released our album yet.
* We lost a few months of promo whilst Harley began to really struggle with GAD (Generalised Anxiety Disorder)
* The music game's changing big time and similarly we lost ground when stepping off the beaten track. (Even though no one really knows what that track is)On a more positive note.
* We actually have made some really good music that we will be continuously drip feeding over the coming months and definitely giving you for free at points because it's ridiculous how long this has all dragged out.
* Harley is receiving help for his anxiety, and I'm documenting the process myself to raise awareness and hopefully help out others in a similar situation.
* When we rebook the tour it'll be off the back of a solid piece of work that we've already made instead of working towards. We're seriously not happy that we're letting so many people down but we will only use November and December to ensure that 2017 flys as smoothly as possible - and that we're completely happy and that we feel balanced and that we're not coaxed into making anymore rash decisions.
You can help us take the reigns back by supporting the music that we love to make when we release it.
You're all fucking great.
Sometimes things aren't great.
We're just going to try and ensure the music is.
You'd be right to feel as though I'm pissed off on another level too. If you bump into me on the train I'll give you the complete low down.Peace x

Beyond The Wizards Sleeve: 'Black Crow' / 'White Crow'
Beyond The Wizards Sleeve have announced details of the release of 'Black Crow', the latest single to be taken from their recently released, much acclaimed debut album 'The Soft Bounce'.
Released on Phantasy October 7th, 'Black Crow' is the third single to be taken from the album. Part American Gothic, part future movie soundtrack, it's a song of haunting beauty. Holly Miranda's vocal glides across reflective strings and delicate crystalline snippets of sound, resulting in an epic torch song lament. It's backed with 'White Crow', Erol Alkan's mighty extended reworking of the song, placing it in spacious widescreen, where you can hear for miles.
BTWS are DJing at Moth Club, London on Friday 7th October from 9pm-1am.
