Telegram: New Album & Tour
London four-piece, Telegram have announced a UK headline tour to coincide with the release of their eagerly awaited and eponymously titled debut album in February 2016.
The band kick off the twenty date run with a show on the 11th of February at the Hare and Hounds in Birmingham and then finish up in London at the Moth Club in Hackney on Thursday the 3rd of March.
Prior to the tour next year, they will play at Liverpool Music Week on the 28th of October, a headline show at The Lexington in London on the 7th of November and then a spot at Eddie Temple-Morris' 'Psychedelic Smithsonian' night at the Clapham Grand on the 12th of December 2015.
Formed just over two years ago, the Telegram line up of Matt Saunders (vocals / guitar), Oli Paget-Moon (bass) and Jordan Cook (drums) have recently recruited new guitarist Pip Stakem to the fold.
Effortlessly combining a love of Roxy, Barrett, krautrock and late proto-punk to great effect, they've built up an ever growing fanbase of critics and public alike with extensive touring and a clutch of fantastic seven inch singles such as 'Follow', 'Regatta', 'Inside Outside' and most recently 'Aeons'.A stunning set of songs, the album will more than confirm Telegram's early promise as one of the most exciting bands around right now.

Patria is a cooperation between David August and Sissi Rada, the harpist of David August & Ensemble and was created in early 2014.
Sissi Rada is from Greece originally and sings in her mother tongue Greek. The song was produced at home in David's home studio and David August is the executive producer.
Sissi Rada wrote the lyrics for Patria after having spent some time at home in Greece. She reflects the current situation in Greece and the impact the economic crisis has had on her friends, family and society at large.

Blue Daisy: New Album 'Darker Than Blue'
Blue Daisy's new album 'Darker Than Blue' recently dropped via R&S Records. There's a lot in the name: "Everything I'm talking about, it's me, but it's my demons", he told The Fader earlier this year. "The 'Darker Than Blue' thing came from that, and also the fact that I'm a black individual in this world. I am darker than blue. This is the label that they put on me".
Essentially: it's a dark, menacing record that's about death, yet bursting with the fury of life. And one of the stand-out cuts on 'Darker Than Blue' is 'Gravediggers' - which we're premiering the video for here. Blue Daisy told us over email that the theme centres around "walking down a deserted, dusty road, with chaos lurking in the shadows at night with a man fighting his way to redemption".

By popular demand, Kano will perform a one-off hometown show on 26th November at Heaven in London to mark the 10th anniversary of his groundbreaking debut album, 'Home Sweet Home'.
D Double E and Ghetts both of whom featured on 'Home Sweet Home' and other very special guests will help grime pioneer Kano celebrate his landmark album. Supporting on the night will be the fast rising rapper Bonkaz.
Tickets go on general sale from Thursday, 8th October.'Home Sweet Home' was preceded by massive underground single and perennial live favourite 'P's & Q's', and included collaborations with Mike Skinner, Diplo, D Double E, Ghetts, Terror Danjah, Mikey J, Fraser T Smith and Paul Epworth. The album showcased Kano's rapid-fire yet seemingly effortless flows, and cemented his status as one of the best rappers in the country. In the decade since, Kano has gone on to release three more albums; several mixtapes, singles and EPs; embark on a successful acting career and land a lead role in Channel 4's drama 'Top Boy'. More recently, Kano has whetted appetites with new tracks 'Hail' and 'New Banger', as he continues in the studio recording his next release.
Kano adds: "At first, this was something I couldn't see myself doing, as I'm not too bothered about the whole '10-year' thing. Then a phone call from Wretch 32 changed my stance - he told me it would 'be a sin' if I didn't mark this anniversary with a celebration. Now I can't wait to touch the stage..."
