Buraka Som Sistema: 10 Year Anniversary Tour
Amsterdam, Rotterdam, Berlin, Paris, London and Brussels are the first cities revealed to welcome Buraka Som Sistema in 2016. These are the first announced dates of the tour that will celebrate the band's 10 year anniversary.
After announcing in August they would be going on hiatus following 10 year anniversary tour in 2016, Buraka Som Sistema are now revealing the first European dates. This tour will take them to some of the most important cities in the career of band members Branko, Blaya, Conductor, Kalaf & Riot, confirming the legacy of one of the most singular international groups in recent memory.
From their memorable live shows at Amsterdam's ADE to the historical nights at Paris and London, Buraka intend to make their presence be felt on this final tour before officially going on an indefinite break. Buraka's shows will have the support of Alo Wala, an artist who's also affiliated with the Enchufada label.
More tour dates will be announced soon, including stops in their home country of Portugal, of course.

Buraka Som Sistema: At Electric Brixton
Celebrating the band's 10 year Anniversary, the energetic and enigmatic force that is Portugal's Buraka Som Sistema, will be performing their last UK show before going on an indefinite hiatus, at Electric Brixton on Saturday 5th March.
Known for their legendary live shows and ability to slay dancefloors with endless bangers, Buraka Som Sistema have gained some serious momentum over the years as a mainstay in the dance music world since the early noughties. Witness them as they bring their experimental fusion of music from all corners of the globe to the dancefloor of Brixton.
Buraka Som Sistema AKA Branko, Riot, Kalaf and Conductor took the furious rhythms of Angolan kuduro, mixed it with techno, grime and whatever else was handy and created critically acclaimed albums such as 2009's 'Black Diamond' and 2011's 'Komba'.
The five draw influences from the music of their youth and culture, fusing it with the inspiration taken from music genres as diverse as techno, drum'n'bass, hip hop and dance music, mixed with all sorts of exciting tropical-flavored music.
Buraka's shows will have the support of Alo Wala, an act who are also affiliated with Branko's Enchufada label. They'll be bringing their colourful sound with their fusion of bass, hip hop, dancehall and South American flavours.
Join Buraka Som Sistema as they bring their Carnival spirit to Electric Brixton and create a really unique dancefloor experience, we assure you that this is one wild and raucous party you don't want to miss.
"Taking music back to its humbling roots, Buraka Som Sistema speak with earthy honesty, clearly revealing the reason behind their worldwide success." Hunger TV

Sevdaliza: New 'Children Of Silk' EP
After the success of her first self-released EP 'The Suspended Kid', Sevdaliza releases her second batch of enigmatic songs on 'Children of Silk'. The songstress draws her influences from several textures like skin and glass. Sevdaliza's melancholic visceral voice floats over beds of mechanical instrumentation, creating dynamics of chaos and order. Her songs have a philosophical questioning character, subjects like gender diversification and perception of emotion are strongly present. Diverse comparisons have been drawn yet it remains a difficulty to specify her in a particular genre. Rhythmic tensions build slowly into chaotic climaxes. Every retribution of her lyrics becomes more intense and personal, yet she isn't able to break from that obscure statue of a woman. 'Children of Silk' is now available worldwide via Itunes / Spotify.

John Cale: Albums 'Music For A New Society' & 'M.Fans'
'M:FANS', a radical new reworking of one of John Cale's most unique and lauded solo records, the 1982 masterpiece 'Music For A New Society', will be released on 22nd January 2016 on Double Six / Domino.
Watch the video for album track 'Close Watch' - featuring Dirty Projectors' Amber Coffman and directed by Abby Portner below.
'Music For A New Society' will also be available fully re-mastered from 22nd January 2016, with 3 previously unreleased bonus tracks from the original multi-track recordings.
'M:FANS' explores the relationship between old and new, in terms of the sound and vision, and Cale's memories of the experience, in terms of his life and the recording. Back and forth 'M:FANS' goes, sampling the original, while creating brand new soundscapes, giving Cale the opportunity for closure on one of the most testing eras of his life, and a way to keep moving forward.
"Making any form of art is always personal to my mind. During the making of 'M:FANS', I found myself loathing each and every character written about in those original recording sessions of 'Music For...' ," says Cale of the reworking. "Unearthing those tapes reopened those wounds. It was time to decimate the despair from 1981 and breathe new energy, re-write the story. Then, the unthinkable happened. What had informed so much over lost and twisted relationships in 1981 had now come full circle. Losing Lou [too painful to understand] forced me to upend the entire recording process and begin again... a different perspective - a new sense of urgency to tell a story from a completely opposite point of view - what was once sorrow, was now a form of rage. A fertile ground for exorcism of things gone wrong and the realization they are unchangeable. From sadness came the strength of fire!!!"
In 1982, 'Music For A New Society' sounded exactly like its title: something futuristic, a new kind of songwriting exercise. In 2016, 'M:FANS' is exactly that too, full of electrical crackle and disturbed frequencies, a different kind of dystopian future awaits. John Cale forages on; it's the only way he knows how.

together PANGEA: European Tour 2016
together PANGEA are touring Europe and the UK from 28 January - 5 March in support of their recently released Burger Records 'THE PHAGE EP' - produced by Tommy Stinson from The Replacements. 'THE PHAGE EP' is available on 12" EP, cassette & digital.
"'The Phage' is essentially cabin fever, whether it be a cabin or a tour van that you're trapped in for months." Says singer / songwriter / guitarist William Keegan. "When things become funny for no reason and a little madness sets in, that's when you start stealing organs with a teleportation ray. Just watch Star Trek Voyager."
2015 has been an active year to date for together PANGEA. The year started with a sweaty & successful 25-date tour of the UK and Europe, followed by a slot opening for the The Replacements at the legendary Hollywood Palladium. A first visit to Mexico, a summer U.S. West Coast headlining tour and an appearance at last month s hottest Los Angeles festival Beach Goth 2015 before starting the fall tour the band are currently headlining in support of 'THE PHAGE EP', which includes a stop at Fun Fun Fun Fest in Texas.
With no break on the horizon after the US tour finishes 6 December, together PANGEA intend to record and complete a new full-length album prior to stepping on the plane for the start of the European Tour on 28 January.

TC: Remixes Tiggs da Authors 'Georgia'
Tiggs da Author's stunning new single, 'Georgia', has been earning the Tanzanian-born crooner much acclaim (including an impressive turn on 'Later... with Jools Holland') and now the soul, jazz sounds of the original have been given an up-tempo reworking by Bristol-based D&B don, TC.
Coming through with a brand new remix video, with grainy shots to fit, it's a creative extension that breathes new life into one of the most refreshing tracks of the year.
Video premiered exclusively in Complex, see link below.

EPROM & Barclay Crenshaw: 'Crawled Eagle'
EPROM and Barclay Crenshaw (AKA Claude VonStroke) collaborate on 'Crawled Eagle', which according to VonStroke is the result of three days hidden away in his Venice studio during which he and EPROM sampled and then resampled their choice analog sounds. Though both voices are present, it s certainly EPROM who takes the lead on this track. His elongated bass wake splices together with the quirky samples Crewnshaw often replicates in his own tracks - repetitive vocal snippets, wandering bird calls, and psychedelic reverb. Without a doubt, this is the nastiest production to ever take flight from the Crenshaw studio.
'Crawled Eagle', along with the 'Moon Juice' B-side, will be available October 30th via STX and BRX.
