Erol Alkan: 'All Night Long' At EartH
Erol Alkan returns to his native London nightlife for another all-night long edition of 'To The Rhythm', once again taking place within EaRTH, the new multi-purpose arts space at the heart of Hackney, on 30th March.
The space will benefit from Alkan's additional touches beyond the soundsystem, taking control of the lighting and evolving the space with the flow of the music across a six hours through his record collection, taking in offbeat strains of house, disco, techno, electro and alternative music typical of his immersive, extended sets, bound and mixed together with his unique, psychedelic sensibility.

Culture Shock: New Release 'Take Control'
2018 was triumphant year for Culture Shock. His underground weapon 'Get Physical' achieved chart topping success; he remixed the likes of Au/Ra, Camelphat and Camo & Krooked to high acclaim; his summer anthem 'There For You' was named Annie Mac's 'Hottest Record' on BBC Radio 1 and would go onto to soundtrack the London Fireworks on New Years Eve.
Showing no signs of slowing down, Culture Shock kicks off 2019 with his fifth entry in the Sequence Series, 'Take Control'. A euphoric intro enhanced by an intimate vocal disguises a devastating DJ tool which is sure to be a mainstay on dancefloors for the unforeseeable future.

Archive: Retrospective Album & Tour
South London collective Archive announce details of a career-spanning 25th anniversary Retrospective collection '25', set for release on Dangervisit, through [PIAS] on May 10th.
'25' comes in various formats, including a six-LP deluxe box set, 43 tracks drawn from the collective's career, including 8 new and previously unreleased songs, a 10" EP and 7" single - featuring collaborations with Band Of Skulls and Steve Mason amongst others. All beautifully packaged, together with a 160 page book featuring new interviews with Archive members past and present, plus photos from Archive's private collection.
Archive celebrate the release of '25' with an already sold out appearance at the ultra-prestigious, 6,000 capacity, La Seine Musicale venue in Paris on May 16th.
The special concert marks the 25th anniversary of the collective's formation in Croydon, South London in 1994.
Twelve studio albums in to their career, Archive have headlined festivals throughout Europe and grown to be one of the UK's biggest live exports to the continent, whilst cultivating a hardcore fan base in their home country.
Talking about the '25' project, Archive founding member Darius Keeler said, "It felt like the right moment to take a breath, take stock of how far we've come on this journey of ours. I'm really proud of the work we've done as a collective over the years, and I'm excited to be celebrating that work in 2019."
"It's also been a great opportunity to collaborate with some new people, I think the track with Band Of Skulls ('Remains Of Nothing') is one of the best things we've ever done, and working with Steve Mason was a real honour too", says Keeler.
First taster from '25' comes in the form of new single 'Remains Of Nothing' – feat Band Of Skulls, which is released today.
Following the album release in May, Archive will be heading out on a massive European and the UK tour.
Tickets go on sale Fri 1st February at 10am CET (9am GMT).- Contact

TVAM: New Video 'Bitplain'
TVAM returns with 'Bitplain', the latest track to be taken from the album, accompanied by one of his self produced videos which sit somewhere between Adam Curtis and BBC schools and form part of his live performances.
Beats rub each other up the wrong way, fuzz guitar shouts to be heard and titanic synths sink your battleship. From this all out war comes brief relief as Joe Oxley comforts us with the voice of a modern day psychic healer. 'Bitplain' soothes like an ocean of calm, a safe space, impermeable to fact and fiction. Against the harsh noise of our polarised digital personalities, and the permanence / impermanence of our digital history, TVAM gently reminds us of our responsibilities.
As we recreate ourselves in noughts and ones, our bodies will crumble to dust but our digital legacy will last forever.
Oxley says, "It's about the feeling that everyone you know is slowly weaving their own narrative reality. Politicians, companies, media commentators, all shaping actuality... super-charged by technology and repeated by the herd. 'Bitplain' is a vain hope that the truth will catch us all in the end."
Additionally, having sold-out the initial run, his debut album 'Psychic Data' will receive a 2nd vinyl pressing to coincide with the tour. The album will be re-issued on April 26th.

Charlotte Adigéry: New Single & Video 'High Lights'
Charlotte Adigéry today unveils the video for her new single 'High Lights', taken from her forthcoming EP 'Zandoli', due for release on 8th February via DEEWEE.
Speaking about 'High Lights', Adigéry says: "'High Lights' and the whole world around it was a big source of inspiration for the EP. It was the first song written for the EP and it inspired me to explore my identity as a Caribbean black woman raised in Belgium. It started off as a celebration of the feminine black culture and then resulted in me writing more in Creole and translating my heritage through music."
Director Joaquim Bayle adds: "'High Lights' has a very specific theme based on a very personal subject the artist wanted to talk about. From the start I was so curious and hooked by the song and this world which from the exterior seems so much "coded." We wanted to amplify the provocative and nonchalance of the song by adding some fantasy bits to the mix."
With her new EP 'Zandoli', Belgian-Caribbean artist Charlotte Adigéry proves herself to be a consummate storyteller. Sometimes patently silly, sometimes deeply introspective, Adigéry's ever-wandering mind spins tales that are absurd and poignant and ridiculously fun. Having been taught the ropes by her Martinique-born mother - namely rhythm's relationship to musicality and the importance of a sense of humour - Adigéry is a persuasive young artist who can sing about lizards one moment and latex the next.
